Library
Open Library is a living, circulating collection of hard copy and digital materials that explore the fertile intersections of art, science, technology, and ecology. From speculative media theory and posthuman philosophy to transdisciplinary practices in art-science and environmental activism, our growing archive is curated to spark inquiry across disciplines, species, and worldviews.
Rooted in our commitment to open knowledge and collective sense-making, the Library is designed as a shared resource hub—supporting critical engagement, creative research, and slow, reflective reading. It’s not a traditional library or physical space, but a decentralized, community-driven constellation of books, manuals, zines, and handouts that move through hands and conversations.
What You’ll Find in Our Collection:
Writings on eco-criticism, sustainability, and environmental technologies
DIY manuals on open-source hardware, citizen science, and regenerative design
Zines and texts on climate justice, speculative futures, and artistic activism
Historical and contemporary thought on the human–nature–technology relationship
Borrow & Contribute
Community members, artists, researchers, and curious readers are welcome to borrow books from our physical collection. Many of our resources are also available digitally under Creative Commons licenses. We warmly invite you to share reflections and reviews of what you read—or submit your own materials to be included in the growing collection.
More Than a Library
The Open Library is a platform for collective learning and critical entanglement. Through reading circles, workshops, and informal exchanges, we explore how creative practices can engage with ecological consciousness, ethical innovation, and the politics of technological futures.
Join us in shaping a commons of thought, care, and resistance.
